If the Los Angeles Chargers end up missing the playoffs again, here are a few different concerning factors that will likely be the cause. I heard the outcries that my podcasts and titles were too pessimistic and negative and...well.....yeah, this podcast isn’t going to help that.
I thought it might be a good idea to do a “reasons for optimism” and a “reasons for pessimism” podcast, similar to the old “Chargers will win” and “Chargers will lose” posts, and I started with the negative side because you should always start with the negative side.
Tomorrow, I promise, there will be a Locked On Chargers episode in which I lay out reasons why I think the 2017 Chargers could end up going deep into the playoffs this year. Today, we’ll focus on what could go wrong, including:
Melvin Gordon’s small sample size
Gus Bradley’s concerning track record
The question marks surrounding Anthony Lynn
