    Los Angeles Chargers Place Three on PUP List

    Who did the Chargers place on PUP and should we be concerned? The Los Angeles Chargers have placed three players on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list to start training camp. WR Mike Williams was expected, but I don’t recall seeing Jason Verrett or Darrell Stuckey having been anticipated. It should be noted that just because a player is placed on the PUP list to start camp it shouldn’t be a cause for concern; they can be removed at any point during camp and immediately get out and practice.
    Jason Verrett isn’t a surprise, though, when you consider he is returning from a torn ACL that was surgically repaired on October 19, 2016. Having only played 24 games in his three year career, the hope is that Verrett can finally stay healthy for an entire season. If easing his way back on the field helps in that, I don’t imagine anyone would complain.
