    3 Potential Pro Bowlers for the Chargers Offense: The Breakouts

    We went over some possible surprise candidates on the Chargers offense on Monday. Today we’ll go over who could be a possible breakout player. These are the guys that have tasted success for a game or so but have been inconsistent.
    3 Breakouts
    Russell Okung
    Okung is entering his 8th year in the NFL and for the 1st time in his career, he started every game. The guy I worked with who broke down tackles said injuries have forced Okung to go away from technique and he’s had a lot of “close calls.” He did say that he’s a very physical run blocker and I can co-sign with that. Okung is quite the finisher. Let’s say the “close calls” never end up as sacks. When you look back nobody is going to remember how many close calls there were. If Okung performs against the run like he’s capable of, if the Chargers are successful he could sneak in the Pro Bowl if he’s healthy.
