Denver has dodged trouble at running back with the return of rookie Devontae Booker. Booker left the game against San Diego because of a shoulder injury and was announced by the Broncos as questionable to come back, but the fourth-round draft pick from Utah has resumed his place in the backfield. The Broncos are already thin at the position after C.J. Anderson underwent surgery earlier in the week to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee.
